Your Changing Body

Discussions and Demonstrations in the areas will focus on the interest of parents/parents-to-be in attendence, as well as professionals in each area but may include: home birth, birth doulas, body work, placentas, birth photography, postpartum doulas, new parent support/lactation and more.

Pop-up Marketplace: There will be a very limited number of vendors nvited to have booths to sell items. Only sign up as a vendor if you have been specifically invited to do so.

Marketing your business or service: Professionals can participate in informal/ongoing demonstrations throughout the event in various topic areas. Business cards may be placed on the table(s) that correspond with your services. There may be room for a brochure as well, we'll have to see how that works out space-wise. You are welcome to bring a brochure holder and/or business card holder for your materials, however, you may also want to keep cards with you to hand to people as they interact with you. You will not have your own individual table/space, instead there will be communal areas. There may need to be some collaboration in the set up of the areas - birth doula area might need a couple of birth balls and rebozos. Body work area does not need 3 hanging spines, but might want to have a massage table or two for demonstrations. We can fine tune these needs as we have have members sign up and see who is coming.

Birth Network members will need to register in advance with a $20 fee to particiapate.

Nonmembers will be charged $40. We hope that the event will be well attended and we will have another in the spring/early summer. Register by Jan 25 to be included in advertising and promotional handouts at the event. Professionals registering at the door will be charged double. Registration fees may be refunded for missing due to a birth only. We may make some changes as we go as this is a new event format. Fee stucture may change for the next event.

Please hang in there as this event evolves there may be some changes as we go along!
